mmarants.blogspot.com Fedor Vladimirovich Emelianenko (Russian Фёдор Владимирович Емельяненко, tr. Fyodor Vladimirovich Yemelyanenko, IPA: [ˈfʲɵdər vlɐˈdʲimʲɪrəvʲɪʨ jɪmʲɪlʲˈjanʲɪnkə]) (born September 28, 1976) is a Russian heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is the current World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts (WAMMA) Heavyweight Champion and the last holder of the Pride Heavyweight Championship. He has won numerous tournaments and accolades in multiple sports, most notably the Pride 2004 Grand Prix and the World Combat Sambo championship on four occasions, as well as medaling in the Russian national Judo championship. Emelianenko has been universally considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world for the last seven years. He holds the distinction of having held five separate major championships including the RINGS World Heavyweight and King of Kings Championships, the Pride World Heavyweight and Heavyweight Grand Prix Championships and the World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts Heavyweight Championship. Many analysts, as well as former and current fighters, consider Emelianenko to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. While Emelianenko has one official loss on his record (to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka), it came under highly irregular circumstances. The fight, a tournament bout, was stopped after approximately 15 seconds when Emelianenko received a significant cut from an accidental illegal elbow from Kohsaka. Enjoy listening to these reviews!

  6. dooooooer says:

    what fedor have to do to win this fight is not to clinch with Overeem.
    and keep the fight standing. Overeem is as strong as lesnar.

  7. dooooooer says:

    @worldtravelerMan well nice prediction but what about Strength wise once they clinch each other who do you think will take down who.
    i think Overeem is Confident not by his punching and knee skills but his strength
    if we look his latest fights Strength to throw rogers played major role.
    and i think if that happens to Fedor. then very bad for Fedor.

  8. BallroomBlitz15 says:

    Fedor has lost one fight and he also needs to beat Shane Carwin, Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez to actually prove he’s best. And no, Overeem does not compare to the fighters I’ve mentioned, he’s just not as good as them. With Brock Lesnar, Overeem would probably get TKO’d, with Shane Carwin, probably a KO and same with Cain Velasquez. Overeem would get murdered by Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin, Cain Velasquez, and Fedor Emelienenko, don’t try saying that he could beat these fighters cuz he can’t.

  9. dooooooer says:

    @jollywolly55 i cant tell how carwin strength is on the ground so it is hard to tell who will win who if brock is stronger than carwin and managed to throw him down then no question lesnar will win else carwin totally will destroy lesnar

  10. TopazSkillMauler says:

    @zodiack1 Overeem took steroid tests!!

  11. jollywolly55 says:

    Brock got dazed by a knee from frank mir. iM pretty sure carwin going to ko lesnar

  12. dieselcoc says:

    we know how good Brock is. He can pin down anyone like a little girl and batter there face unrecognizable with inch punches. Thats some strength we havent seen before

  13. audri98 says:

    great analysis…
    Most people think that Brock vs fedor is the one most anticipaed fight… But I think that If brock and overeem fight, overeem will win. So I also think that fedor vs overeem is more great deal fight than fedor vs brock.

  14. Onepiecefan3 says:

    @elliotb92 Lol 😛 But not Fedor! He is a class act! The Russian GSP XD

  15. metlguitar02 says:

    Scott Coker, CEO of Strikeforce, said it is going to happen, given Fedor defeats Werdum.

    Fedor is scheduled for 3 fights with Strikeforce, so that would leave one. Who else would he go to fight? Also, a Fedor/Lesnar fight could happen, but we will have to see on a number of factors. Lesnar may not beat Carwin and if he does, who is to say he will beat the next in line? Either way, this fight is certainly going to happen, it seems.

  16. Meginnis31 says:

    they’re not fighting and no the most anticapated Lesnar vs Fedor

  17. phrek75 says:

    @elliotb92 Ohh your welcome 😉

  18. elliotb92 says:

    @phrek75 ahh right
    i just saw it was a loss on his record
    it was on wiki i shud of known lol…
    thanks for the correction 🙂

  19. phrek75 says:

    @elliotb92 Not correct. People dont count it as a loss, because the cut, was caused by an illegal elbow hit, thats why.

  20. elliotb92 says:

    @Onepiecefan3 sounds abit crappy when you say it like that lol
    but many MANY businessmen do that, and MUCH worse everyday…

  21. elliotb92 says:

    @D21UpstateNY i know he lost one due to a cut
    but many ppl dont count it as a loss because it was in like the first 20seconds

  22. Onepiecefan3 says:

    @elliotb92 You know how many people would lose their jobs if Fedor Ditched m1? Not only would he lose thousands but the employees would lose their share holds/jobs. Soo you’re saying in order for the whole world to acknowledge Fedor as the greatest fighter he should abandon the people who helped promote him there?

  23. D21UpstateNY says:

    @dounowmuffin69 ahhh ok so he is undefeated then as a fighter. to me thats not a loss then, he won the fight but was forced to drop out (which we know he would still terminate it out if its his choice) thanks for the information man.

  24. volpi79 says:

    nice analysis.very well thought out as usual. i always enjoy watching your prediction vids man

  25. karimrakha says:

    i really dont know what this guy s talking about cause tyson stayed undefeated 37 fights,,, lennox lewis had only one loss in 38 fights ( like fedor)….and there are many other fighter who had also a great record in boxing and other martial arts…but anyway he usually talks well…just this one needed correction…..
