    Twilight sucks

  3. MarkMayrProductions says:

    @TheEnglishBlokey The Canon HV40 has exceptional HD X-Ray Vision. It uses micro-enhanced fibers to record a clear and high resolution image even when the lens is on. It looks like our little reviewer was only testing out this functionality. It’s pretty cool, it just doesn’t work in low light.

  4. leonanim says:

    The XR200v has an active interface shoe (hot shoe) DOES accept a gunzoom mic. (see Sony ECM-HGZ1 )

    What do you think about the panasonic tm700? im thinking of selling my hf200 and getting the tm700.

    @filmriot Hey can you PLEASE tell me what the song is during the first slow-mo shot PLEASE PLEASE

  7. rubbyduck says:

    @uniboyskiier1 Oh yeah, Im in serious trouble right now, as i thought ryan was using the vixia as it is using a harddrive instead of mini DV….

    alright, i’m lookin at camcorders for snowboarding next season, i either wanna get this or the hfm31 with a internal 32gb flash drive. I’ve read countless reviews and asked a ton of ppl and they all say to go with the hv40. the only problem is i dnt know how to really use and import hdv’s and i’m afraid that hdv’s will be outdated within the next couple of years…what should i do?

    how would you get the video out fo the hv40 if my laptop does not have a firewire

  12. random123863 says:

    when did this camera come out

  13. NervousPancake says:

    @Antari0424
    yes i think you can use imovie 09.

  14. filmriot says:

    @uniboyskiier1 Actually, Mini DV is close to dead. None of the pro’s I know use mini DV anymore. It is all moving tapeless. On the pro-level, tapeless is better, but on the low budget level, you are right, mini dv does have less compression.

  15. uniboyskiier1 says:

    @rubbyduck haha tapes actually are so much better because of the lack of compression…why else would most pro camcorders use minidv?

  16. boamuro says:

    The slow mo bit “joke” got old really quickly and got rather annoying.

    The Netflix commercial was funnier… and creepy.

  17. curtismichael14 says:

    @RedLeaderTrackMaster i wouldn’t get a avchd camcerder if it was 500 gb

  18. Antari0424 says:

    Since the Canon HD40 doesn’t have slow mo. are there programs u can use to do it?

  19. NickandCharlieShorts says:

    @filmriot what lav mic was that you showed us. because i am looking for one that the reciever will plug straight into my hv40

  20. lotrfreak007 says:

    I’m looking for an HD camera and the two I am interested in are the Vixia HFS200 and the Vixia HFM30. Which one would you prefer?

  23. Gremlin119 says:

    does the HV40 have a stabilizer function?

  24. Xibang says:

    Was the slowmotion apple smash done in 200fps? So you would be able to shoot 3 seconds per time?

  25. trailerfitter says:

    @RedLeaderTrackMaster yeah I have issues with running HD images on a laptop which has a naff graphics card
