Poll Finds Opposition To MMA In New York
A new poll shows most New Yorkers oppose legalizing mixed martial arts. Governor David Paterson proposed legalizing mixed martial arts as a way to generate needed state revenue. The sport takes place in an octagonal cage and allows striking, clinch and ground fighting, including submissions.
