The Ultimate Fighting Championship, or known by many as UFC, originated in the early 1990s with violent pay-per-view matches that were touted as no holds barred mixed martial arts (MMA) events. UFC has been on a rampage at the moment with their fan base growing daily by the tens of thousands, Pay Per View Numbers are almost doubling that of Boxing year on year. Not only is the sport making headway but the need for MMA Gear to provide these athletes with the correct equipment which includes MMA Shorts and MMA Gloves. After political pressure almost completely eclipsed the sport from public view, the UFC reformed itself by adopting stricter rules, which made it more socially acceptable. Now they have almost become a style statement. Its not only the fighters who wear UFC clothing, but they are also available for their fans. Even at the stage of practicing its very important to be properly dressed to avoid any injury. The amateurs can fall into serious trouble if they don’t follow the instruction of wearing the right UFC clothing and UFC gear. Any UFC fan would surly have one UFC Shirt or UFC t shirt.

The UFC has also started its own range of UFC Clothing to cash in on the demand from the fans all over the world, the likes of Tapout Clothing brand have become a house hold name within the sport and now into the mainstream as they were the first of many Clothing companies to sponsor MMA fighters in and outside the octagon.

Skate boarding has created tons of lifestyle brands from the 80’s popularity of the sport and it looks like the same thing is happening within Mixed Martial Arts with fans wanting to be a part of it by wearing there favorite fighters walkout t-shirt or just a simple item from the UFC Clothing range.

With the increase of popularity and the growing number of fans moving over from boxing and the kids growing up doing MMA instead of boxing the whole industry will continue to grow but the questions How Much?
